Hope they come through for you, I looked at a "new" box blade today, all dented and rusting and the dealer said oh well... still the same price. And it was a landpride.
I've owned and own lots of Land Pride implements (12 new and 2 used) and I've never had a new one show up damaged. The only new Kubota/Land Pride thing I've ever bought that was damaged was the cap on the cab of the MX6000. It was replaced before the new tractor was delivered to me at my house.

You can see the damage to the cap in this photo.

There was minor damage to the paint on all three Everything Attachments implements including a grapple, box blade and grading scraper (land leveler), but I couldn't care less since they're tools to be worked, not waxed and polished like a car, truck or boat. The most damage I ever saw to an implement was the Del Morino flail and it was caused by the shipping company. Courtney gave me a 15% discount for my troubles, and had a new guard rod shipped to me within a few weeks.

I can't heap enough praise on Good Works Tractor Co., and Courtney in particular. While I'm not a fan of their latest QH, they are a really good company to buy from and deal with.

As for the MechMaxx, flail mowers and particularly ditch bank models will see a lot of wear and abuse so personally I wouldn't be bothered by the damage to the paint on that MechMaxx. The damage to the hose and cylinder are a bigger issue and I'd expect the company to ship out replacement parts. While they're shipping stuff, have them ship out the rest of the front chain guard. 😂

All my equipment is kept inside and kept in good condition. Damaged powder coat, dents are not something I buy new equipment for. Replacing that hood would require all new hardware to be able to torque and would take several days. Definitely needs replacement or refund with return shipping.

How many implements have you ordered that where shipped to you?

The only "implement" I've ever ordered that came in a metal crate was a $20k Yamaha outboard motor. I've had five implements shipped to me and all of them had some form of damage to the paint. Franky, I expect to see some damage to implements strapped to pallets. My equipment lives outside and is also kept in good condition.

This is how a Del Morino ships. 😂 Given the cost you'd think that they'd do quite a bit more to limit damage to the flail as it makes its way across country. I emailed Del Morino in Italy to ask them if they ship from Italy to the US as shown below but never got a reply.

That's packed good. No heavy parts with sharp edges wired on top bouncing around destroying items. My Enrossi sickle bar came from Italy with no damage. My 1500 pound harbor freight trencher arrived un damaged with heavy parts properly packed using Styrofoam inserts, my commercial tablesaw, bandsaw, joiner, planer, 3 point snowblower, catawba grapple and many more large items I have received as freight shipments had zero damage and were packaged properly. This all could have been avoided with 50 cents worth of Styrofoam.

I finally got an email back from them this morning. They want to send parts but I asked for a replacement due to powder coat not being repairable so waiting for a response. I really don't want to have to pull it all apart to change the housing or use it in youtube videos looking like that.

I can't see your flail coming from Italy that way. I would think they would be crated, so they could be stacked inside a shipping container.

My sickle bar came from Italy in a crate of 2 that were properly packed and it was broken into 2 pallets at the dealer. I'm guessing that flail was inspected broken down at the dealership also.

I thought the same thing and that's why I emailed Del Morino. They're an Italian company and for whatever reason they never replied. It was during the tail end of the COVID fog so maybe that had something to with it.

Courtney mentioned that the gear boxes are shipped dry and that I'd need to add gear oil, but mine came filled, so I wondered if GWTC removed the flail from a crate, assembled it, filled the gear box and strapped it down to a crappy pallet. I would have preferred it show up in a crate and do my own assembly, but after three years or more of ownership and hard use that's all water under the bridge.

Them doing the prep makes sense, the way it showed up. I have to agree, I like taking my time and assembling my own stuff.
