Yesterday it snowed all day, piling up 15”. Later this week the temperatures are supposed to be in the 70s. I decided to forgo shoveling and plowing and just let nature take it’s course.

I'm in Massachusetts and I remember in 1997 we received a 3 foot snow storm on April 1st. It started as 3-6" and when I went to bed they were saying 6-12" so needless to say they were a little off ha ha

We generally get a snow fall in the last week of April. Not much just enough to count.

When I lived in Flagstaff we once had an 18” snow on Memorial Day. It melted the next day.

That’s more than the forecast being a little off.

Man that's wild.

Don't reckon I knew it even did that in NM.

Meanwhile down in the dirty 'Sip lol

NM is a very diverse state geographically. The southern portion is warm deserts and highlands. The northern part is Rocky Mountains, the eastern part is Great Plains. I live at 6,900’ elevation where the Rocky Mountains meet the Great Plains. At 6,900’ snow can pile up in the winter. Your warm and green photo looks pretty nice after a long winter.
