For some reason my Kubuta L4060 does not have the flow rate that this needs.

I have about $3,000.00 in it with the hoses and the mount I made.

It has not been used much.

$1,500.00 and it is yours.

Only requires 3 to 4.5 gal/min.

I am in N.E. Ohio.

Your L4060 has 9.8GPM available, so something isn't right if it's not working for you.

I had one briefly on my B2650. The flow rate was...adequate...but the machine itself didn't even come close to living up to the hype. The knives appeared to be made of aluminum and bent easily jamming the machine.

The company was of absolutely NO help. I sold it cheap to a guy who was willing to futz with it. I went back to my home made Super Weed Whacker.

Seriously disappointed both with the machine and the lack of factory support. 1 star...

I have one on my B2650....run off of the 3rd function controls, which makes it easy to reverse the cutters when it plugs to a halt. Or switch directions just to give a brief rest the the 3rd function valves.

I also have to kind of agree with @PHPaul in that it doesn't really live up to the hype that the company puts out. The first season was the worst....with the edges of some knives bending and locking up the cutting action. A cordless grinder with a thin cut-off wheel to nip off/remove those slight bent edges (at their outter tips) was a quick in the field fix.

However, this past year (after finding/fixing those weak edged blades) the operation was 100% better. Still not like some videos show......but for the lighter hedge trimming maintenance at my place, it now seems to do fine.

I've had to remove the power head a few times to clean the off center pivot area that moves the blade back and forth. That area will clog up with the fine cuttings and sap power from the hydraulic motor.

Maybe it will keep getting better as things wear in?? But I don't think it will ever have enough power to take on dried dead or hardwood branches of the size the manufacturer claims. But trying best to see that only one larger branch/stem at a time enters into the teeth sure reduces the chances of it binding.

With my setup, it would be better advertised as a means to keep new growth trimmed on already shaped to size hedges. If I didn't tire out, my gas powered hedge trimmer would easily keep up with it. But then I couln't trim the top of the hedges with the gas trimmer either.
