Anyone else have a self releasing snatch block and a 4” hydraulic cylinder in their dining room?

(I didn’t realize how old I was until I carried the cylinder in from the porch🙄)

Happy Friday!

My dining room is cluttered with firearms parts, tractor parts, new Ford Super Duty parts and some tools. Last summer it was cluttered with lots of boat parts. I'm always working on something.

Intentionally or unintentionally? 😂😂😂😂
IMO, whether it was drivin in, or carried in in parts….that took some serious talent!

If there was no legal assistance/counsel required or involved, then that was very impressive indeed.

Ya know what, now that you mention it, one of both!
Old house was unintentional, I blame it on soft ground and schnapps! 🥴
New house was intentional, and even wife approved. :sneaky:

When designing your home always make it tractor accessible!

I have permission from my wife to bring the tractor into the dining / living room. It is tractor accessible through a big sliding door although I had not planned it for that purpose. Have not done it (yet :giggle: ) either; so far I am only drying my sprayed front axle parts in it for faster paint curing times because of higher temperatures than in the garage :)

Those snatch blocks are the next best thing to the winch it's self. I purchased mine with the winch almost 30 years ago, and have never regretted getting it.

My wife just reminded me about when I used the oven to bake bike parts after painting. Or the time I froze the crankshaft and baked the bearings to ease installation. Oops.
