Im not sure what's going on with the weather.

But twice now we have had it rain and the vehicles look like someone dumped a bucket of muddy water on the vehicles.

It's a 3hr wait in town to access a car wash.

Couldn't get the photos to show it on the truck, but it sure shows up on the black car.

We are currently in the pollening so you would expect it to be green, not brown 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

A distant tornado can lift dirt high allowing upper winds to transport it a long way before it finally rains down.
Now that makes sense. I hadn't thought of that.

We had tornados roll through north east of us the other night. We had muddy rain that night, and then some quick sprinkles last night that lasted about 15 minutes.

That put more mud on the windshield 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Just be happy there it's not from a wastewater treatment plant or a manure source. 😉

The local news reported that dust picked up in Texas and Oklahoma caused Grand Rapids Michigan to register the worst Air quality in the USA this past Saturday.

Well, that is interesting. I washed the truck on Saturday afternoon once all the storms came through Friday night.

As we were out and about we couldn't tell if it was fog or haze, but reading the article, it explains that we were seeing dirt in the air. Wife and I joked about how this must be what wildfire smoke looks like. We couldn't figure out why the fog wasn't burning off like normal.

Sunday morning, we got a slight dusting of snow and it was basically brown snow. When it melted, it left my truck covered in dirt. Ended up going back through the carwash after church to clean it again.

So, we must of gotten some of the left over dirt from the backside of the storm system late Saturday/early Sunday morning as the snow wrapped in.
