I bought a used/single owner 01 M6800 last fall. All around it's in good condition. Has about 4600 hours. Besides some wear and tear items I'm replacing, I'm trying to get the gear shifter straightened out.

Those that don't know, it's a 8 speed, 4 high 4 low. Doesn't matter if it's in high or low range. Shifting between the left or high side of the H pattern (1/2 to 3/4 or vice-versa) is very difficult. Like it doesn't feel like it doesn't go between. I've only pulled the access cover off just below the lever. Linkage seems tight/no slop.

Has anybody else had this issue with a 6800,8200, or 9000?

Need to known exactly which model you have, there are several variants.

Do you have the WSM?

I do have one, forgot where I bought it from. I believe it is a M6800HDC. Cab, 4wheel drive, loader. Just looked around online about my serial number, dont think the dealer gave me the right one, its 61xxx. Missing a letter in there right? Or did that only start in '12?

Give me your serial number and I'll see if I have the right WSM.
