Recently purchased L4600hd. The top link adjust is very tight to turn either way. Added some grease in the 2 points and it made it even tighter to turn. Any tips prior to returning it to the dealer?

It may have been over greased or just have gunk in it. Completely unscrew both ends, one is left handed, and clean with a wire brush. I'd remove the grease fitting so the excess can be forced out. Wipe a little grease on the threads and reassemble. There may be a stop to remove that prevents the ends from coming apart.

If it's still hard to adjust, it's probably worn out and needs to be replaced.

Newer top links can not be unthreaded they a have stops built into them.
Have you loosened the lock on it?

You said NEW L4600 and I'm like ummm that tractor was new in 2010... Gotta love Kubota releasing tractors in other locals with the same #'s as OLD US models.
