Starter relay / solenoid / ignition ???

Greetings all! Long time member, but haven't been active for a while cause my machine just works so damn well!
Here's the deets:
2008 B7800
Started it yesterday with no issues, and it just died while idling. It has never done this before. WTF?
Try to start, gives me a good solid "click" when I turn the key.
Check all the usual suspects; PTO's are not engaged, fuses are all good, clutch engagement is good. Battery is fine, lights etc. are all powered. There's even fuel in it!!
As I keep trying various fixes, the "click" goes away when I turn the key on.
Enough. Go in for the night.
Today I come at it again, thinking I likely have a starter solenoid issue and plan to just jump the starter terminals to see if that does the trick.
Firstly, I try to just start it again, and she lights up right away!

Any thoughts on what issue this is likely to be? Starter / solenoid / ignition switch??

Battery cables or battery cable ends would be my first look.
Second would be safety switches, seat, PTO, HST
The fact that it dies without warning could also point to a bad ignition switch.

It might be failing safety switches that are dropping the voltage too much on the solenoid fire wire.

Next time it acts up try to apply full battery voltage to the spade on the solenoid and see if it spins the starter. If the key is in the off position the tractor won’t start but the engine will crank. If the key is in the run position then the tractor will be able to start. So be careful not to be run over if you try to get it running.
