2022 LX2610 FEL belly mower 75hrs 19k
2021 CT2025 FEL Bus hog 35hrs with dual axel trailer and 3 extended warranty 20,500
Both non regen machines , both 25 hp.
Leaning towards 2610 but the warranty on the Bobcat is nice. Thoughts?

There isn't a warranty out there that would persuade me to buy a Bobcat anything. This would be an easy decision for me because I've had such a good owner experience with four Kubota tractors and a generator. From where I sit, Bobcat doesn't have a stellar reputation for any of their products.

What color is the oil filter on the LX2610? I ask because the oil filter from the factory is the same gray color as the frame. If it was replaced at 50 hours, as it should have been along with the oil, it will be white.

Aren't these simply rebranded KIOTI's? As in CK20?

The Bobcat is a kioti, the CT2025 is closer to a L2501 size. I had a lx2610 and did not like it. The hydro was jumpy and noisy.

Didn't check filter but I will.
Sounds like the 2610 is just a B series with bigger tires?
Really like the bush hog don't really need a belly mower just want the best machine of the two.
Also heard Kioti/Bobcat frames and axles are bigger and stronger then most?
Called Kubota and told me 6 yr warranty is still in affect for powertrain but not bumper to bumper and I have local Kubota dealer here which is good.
What's with rebranding? Not so happy that these new Bobcats just came out under new branding, should I be worried?

Well Bobcat, as a tractor brand, has gone bust previously and they relaunched again a few years ago. On the plus side, you should be able to get parts from Kioti if this happens again, but its unlikely that any warranty would be honored. The LX2610 is nearly identical to the prior B2650 apart from a few minor changes. Also, having a dealer that you trust nearby is an important consideration when purchasing a tractor. I do all of the maintenance work myself, but I know if I ever encounter a problem beyond my skillset or require a warranty claim, my dealer is only ~30mins away.

Dealer selling Bobcat says this CT2025 has extended warranty thru 2028? Telling me they will not honor that????

Is it a Bobcat dealership? If so, and if they are still selling Bobcat tractors in 2028, they should certainly honor the warranty.

No, looking at it used on YTM dealer but tells me dealer down the street Bobcat dealer in Ocala will honor it, True or false? I'm calling them in the morning, if not covered going with Kubota no doubt. Or Bobcat of Jacksonville.
So you're saying if they go out business again they won't?

The local Kubota dealer used to sell Bobcat products too but ended the relationship due to never ending issues with quality and reliability. Admittedly this was before Kioti started making some Bobcat products.

And even if a Bobcat is a rebranded Kioti, there are very few Kioti models that I'd choose over an equivalent Kubota model. 😂

^^^This.

The Bobcat CT2025 (same as Kioti CK2620 / CK2610) is a larger frame tractor than the LX2610. The CT2025 is much more comparable to the L2501 / L2502.

If the op found an L2501 I think there's someone on this forum selling really nice turbo kits for it. 😂

The Bobcat seems like an unknown quantity regardless of the fact that Kioti is making it. Does it share all of the parts and features of the "equivalent" Kioti tractor?

I'm a huge fan of older bobcat products but not ever a fan of Bobcat tractors.
One of the things to love about a Kubota, it parts and quality are consistent.
You can get parts for years.
I have found that a lot of the Bobcat / Kioti / Doosan products will change drastically throughout a product's build time.
Several of their models can have different engines in the same model and different hydraulic parts and controls.
All of this makes it really hard to get parts.
It's quite rare for Kubota to just change them mid model or mid year.
A lot of Kubota parts are backwards compatible, so newer parts will work on older models.

While they might honor a warranty, what are you going to do when they say on sorry that part is not available so we can't fix it?

If they are still selling Bobcat tractors then it's possible. However, given their history, I would not add any value to the extended warranty. That having been said, it appears to be a larger machine than the LX2610. Ultimately, it comes down to what you need and what you feel is the best choice for your property.

I'll amend my first response to suggest neither tractor, and instead recommend a Kubota or perhaps Kioti in the larger frame found in the L2501/02, or possibly bigger. But I have no idea of the intended use, and even if I did, it's not my money. :giggle:

I can’t point to anything definitive, but have a recollection that parts availability could be iffy with Kioti.

Might have been just hearsay but worth researching while shopping.

I think there’s a couple/few Kioti owners here on OTT.

If you want a trailer, then on paper the Bobcat is more tractor with more add ons, and lower hours.

Depends what value you put on Kubota v's Bobcat/Kioti.

The LX2610 is the same tractor as the B2650, with very minor changes. It is larger frame than the Bxx01 series.

Nothing wrong with a Kioti. A Bobcat rebranded Kioti is a bit harder, but there are a lot of them around. Not a bad buy, but not ideal.

Any chance you could wait and get an L2501? That'd be good buying if you don't really want a MMM.
