Hello Ya'al,
Does anyone have a connection to purchase year tires for my L1801 Kubota gray market tractor?
I am hoping to find something less aggressive than the stock tires, like a turf tire.
The stock tires are Farm Service Lug Series, Bridgestone, 8.3/8-22

You may have trouble with finding tires that size that are not similar to what you have. What you have are Agricultural tires commonly referred to as R1 type. Those can come is a few different lug styles but all are for traction in plowed fields. But you may be able to get some that are R14 that are less aggressive. Unfortunately many of the tractors were imported from Japan with very aggressive rice paddy tires and they may be odd size wheels.

He more that likely he has R2 tires, better known as rice tires, very aggressive tread.

You can buy AG tires all over the place.
It would help if you tell us the tire size that is on it and if it's a 4wd you will also have to address the front tires at the same time to keep the ratio right.

You can go from R2 (rice tires) to R1 tires without changing rims.

To go to, R3 (Turf), R4 (Industrial), R14 ( Hybrid) tire you will need to get rims too, as they will need to be wider rims for the tires to fit.

Thank you.
The existing tires are 8.3/8-22 size. I will try to attach a picture.
Any help you can offer finding this size would be great or let me know where to find new rims if that is what I need to do. The tractor has 4wd capability but I have never used it on my property, never seemed to need it.

Google shows several, looks like they're all R2. Do you have a farm tire dealer nearby?

Unless you change wheels, you might be limited to R1 tires. Looks like you have R2, which is more aggressive. If you don’t have a farm tire dealer nearby, check with a truck/heavy equipment tire dealer. They can also order farm type tires.

the 4Farmer brand sells a grass tire in 8.3-22.
If your local tire shop can't source then an Amazon or Alibaba search can help.
Shipping costs will probably suck big time but so will a lot of other stuff for European tractors.
anyways if heart set on this size this is an option.
tHIS WAS THE STOCK SIZe on the Kubota M1 tractors front wheels as well.

curious... is there a nonGRAY model equal to the L1901 ?
If so, price out tire/rim as 'whole goods' at Kubota dealer.
For my BX23s, premounted rear tire on rim was $340, tire alone $500. Don't ask me why.

There is no direct cross to non grey that I know of for the tire/rims.
Also, do you think Kubota is going to stock or be able to get a tire and rim combination for a 40+ year old tractor. 😜
