My M125X stopped moving forward suddenly without warning, the light on bottom right of dash indicated N for neutral, pulled shuttle lever in neutral then back into forward still nothing, but will go into reverse, I can drive it in reverse, I know it's an electrical issue, hydraulic level good, just wondering if anyone else experienced this issue, looked at all the fuses they were fine, I bought the tractor used about 5 years ago, it's a 2012 or 2o13 model, I have no wiring diagram or book came with the tractor, before I go tearing it apart to try to find the short was hoping someone could point me in the right direction, thanks very much, Rob.

I'd start by testing the shuttle switch. Maybe it's not sending a signal to the "forward" circuit. The indicator shows R in reverse? It shows N in neutral? Still shows N in forward?

Thank you, yes it shows R for reverse, and shows N for neutral and still shows N in forward, that was my thought as well to start with the shuttle switch, I spoke with a mechanic by phone, he said I could switch the forward and reverse solenoid to see if it's a bad solenoid, he couldn't tell me exactly where those are, and of course Kubota is currently upgrading their computer system so I can't get a printout of the electrical schematics, the solenoids are probably under the cab which I'm sure I'll have to remove the seat that I was hoping to avoid, but I'll start with the shuttle, thanks for your input, really appreciate it, Rob

Welcome to this forum
I suggest since you looked at all fuses to check for a faulty relay. Drive by wire systems are great until they fail. I'm glad my M7040 reverser is controlled by a shift cable.

Thank you, I looked at the relays and they have an indicator on the top of the covers showing what their for, in other words one will have an image for lights, heating and air and so forth, nothing for transmission or drive and reverse, these are the relays under the hood over the engine, unless there are more somewhere else, I'm waiting till the weekend to work on it because they say it's going to be in the 40's, right now it's 25 degrees! unfortunately I don't have a nice heated shop to put it in ha ha! one other thing I should point out the top of the trans is clean, no squirrel nest or other debris, I checked that first.

Well I figured it out, thanks to Fedup for the pdf, the problem was the forward switch on the shuttle shift, the lever with the little wheel wasn't pushing the button far enough in to engage the switch, using needle nose pliers I bent the lever out a little as you can see in the picture, this provides a little more pressure on the switch button from the cam on the shuttle lever as it's pushed forward

You have to remove this plate, unfortunately it looks like they used lock tight on all the screws, it was Hell getting the plate off, had to use vice grips to get that screw out!

Remove the post, there's a screw on top and bottom, I broke the screw on the bottom, thank God that's the only screw that broke, I put it back together without that screw on the bottom and it looks like that will suffice, the little post on the opposite side doesn't need to be removed, but the top screw needs to be removed to get the plate off, it's so tight the Phillips head screw driver had no chance, barely had enough room to get vice grips in there, thank God I didn't break that one!

There's a little ball bearing where the arrow's pointing, don't let that fall out and hit the ground, you'll never find it.
