Thats every boobtube video. The key point of the video is at around 35:00
"Please click on the link and give me money"
Gelling in winter, yes.I thought that additives were mostly to try to prevent gelling or to make fuel last longer?
Those with shortened attention spans won't last 15 minutes.I should have added that those with shortened attention spans can skip to the last 15 minutes or so.
Additives were tested mixed with the baseline diesel at the "standard" (minimum) dose found on the label for that particular product. It was stated that regarding additives in general, "more is worse, not better."I kind of ran through the video (way too long). My question is
the wear scar test, is it performed with the additive alone or is mixed with diesel fuel?
I've been using Stanadyne since 1992 when I bought my first diesel truck, so obviously I was disappointed in the lubricity/wear results. I'm left with some questions, would have preferred to see more data such as the actual fuel to additive ratios used, a wider range of tests to include other claims on the label, and would prefer a much larger sample size rather than one test for each, but these tests are expensive so I get it.Ran across this on another forum.
