New guy on forum!!
Have a L3901 and motor is seized. Stump hit the oil filter and lost oil and pressure. When noticed moved it 200 ft to work on. Added new oil and filter won’t crank. Flywheel won’t turn. Any suggestions? Has about 300hours on it.

Thanks buddy; do you have a rough idea what that might cost for parts and labor? Ballpark idea. Just don’t want someone to rip me off.
Was it financed and do you have KTAC Insurance on it?
Did it happen on your property?
And if it did do you have a home owners policy?
KTAC is a simple deductible and it will get fixed.
Your home owners policy should do it too.

If neither insurance is available:
Sit down,
Take a nitro pill or 2,
Yes do it even if you don't have a bad heart!
Have a stiff drink or 3,
Yes again, do it even if you don't drink!

A rebuild on that engine is not going to be cheap, but it depends on what parts are needed to be replaced.
In my estimate our looking at $5k to $15k.

The crank alone is $4K if it's damaged.

But don't jump off the ship yet, just stand on the rail.
Get someone to pull the propeller shaft (front drive shaft) then pull the pan and drop the caps off the rods, that will tell you / us a whole lot on what all needs to be done.
