Are Kioti tractors really a better value on paper compared to Kubota?

I tend to hear and read this a lot, that Kioti tractors have more and better features for significantly less money compared to Kubota tractors. I'm not that familiar with all Kioti models, but since I have an MX6000HSTC I figured I'd compare it to the equivalent Kioti model which appears to be an NX6010CH.

This is just one example, but the table below tries to make a fair comparison between the two models. If I add in the standard features that come with the Kioti to the Kubota build, and even include a rear wiper not available from Kioti, the price difference is only $1,174. Bare in mind that the Kubota has a 2.4L 4-cylinder engine putting out 63.4hp gross compared to the Kioti with a 1.8L 3-cylinder engine putting out 60.0hp gross. Which one should last longer and have more torque? Also, Kioti implies that only two rear remotes can be added compared to three rear remotes available for the Kubota.

It's hard to compare the FEL capacities, but notice that the Kioti L6010 has less height and less reach compared to the 1065A on the Kubota, so the capacity at max height isn't an apples to apples comparison.

I would still choose an MX6000HSTC over a Kioti NX6010CH, particularly given the insignificant 2% premium of the Kubota that gets you a bigger engine among other things.

N.Y,
Check with both dealers for actual pricing. For my Kioti I got a discount off the MSRP and then the loader price was deducted also with the current deal and free Rim Guard because they are a 5 paws dealer. . Was a really big savings over the smaller Kubota LX ( no other small cab models available) with sales tax included. Kubota just had a small rebate and no incentive for a cash deal. So far I am very happy with the Kioti and I would never go back to a rocker pedal. Some great Kioti incentives going on now for 2024 leftovers. You can get a Kioti RX7340 for 56k now.

I've never understood the issue with the Kubota pedal and have close to 350 hours with it and like it just fine. I only use my heel for reverse if I want to go fast. Mostly I simply use the top of my toes under the pedal for reverse with my heel on the floor. The L60 tractors do have a nicer pedal for sure and perhaps it would make a good upgrade.

As for the RX7340 which appears to be a good tractor, that $56k which includes a rebate excludes 0% financing so it's $60,500 for most folks. There's almost 10% sales tax in Tennessee which puts the price close to $66,550 at that particular dealership.

Obviously everyone should make their own comparisons and decisions, but I wouldn't buy an NX6010CH over and MX6000, even if I was making that decision today.

By the way, Kioti shows an MSRP of $67,778 for the RX7340 and Kubota's M7060 with features like creep range, 540E PTO, air ride seat and rear defogger added on to make it equivalent to the Kioti has an MSRP of $65,082. The Kioti is a new build and the M7060 has been out for quite a few years so arguably the Kioti is the "nicer" tractor, but I gaurantee there isn't a thing that the Kioti could do that the Kubota couldn't.

For many though, the lack of a good local dealer is a problem. It sure is for me.

This is going back a few years now, Fall of 2019, I priced a Kubota L2501 hst, loader and third function with the Kioti Ck2610 , loader , third function.

I had been led to believe there was going to be a considerable cost saving with the Kioti. After negotiation on both tractors, comparing apple to apples my big cost savings was only about $300 dollars!

The only plus's with the Kioti in my mind was the nicer seat and the fact the Kioti dealer was a few miles from my house and the Kubota dealer was about 25 miles.

That $300 dollars cost savings would have been instantly negated the minute I left the lot in the form of depreciation INHO.

Yes you might be able to pick it up for cheaper, but your going to sell it for a whole lot cheaper!
Just a quick comparison looks like a 10K average difference.
But if it work for you that's great.
