The above replies in the thread detail the component needed. A little plug for about 98 dollars from Kubota. If the female (tractor side) of the connection is broken, the PTO controller must be removed. It's just three bolts, but you must drain the entire transmission or else you will make a big mess in your barn
The female part is only about 50 dollars. You need a "C" clamp to reassemble the controller. Otherwise easy-peasy.
I recommend everyone make some sort of belly pan to protect these dainty tractors from brush that you drive over when mowing. I have broken both the male and female parts of this connector. So, I will not drive it again until I make some sort of protective shield under the tractor. Next weekend's project.
