When parked 10 days ago, everything was working fine. Now, nothing. The good: Battery tests fine, (1- yr old). Power to switch, safety continuities check out, power to starter, Power from switch to starter noted with key on run and start. The bad: No clicking when key turned, no lights, no apparent electrical activity to dash at all. Fuses 1-5 checked, fuse 11, (Slow blow) appears dark but not blown and ohm'ed as ok. Completely baffled and unfortunately rear attachment is down as is FEL so don't see attempt to load on a trailer as viable. Open for suggestions please. 2009 B3030, Hydrostatic drive, 575 hrs

I would suggest cleaning your battery connections first, then replace any fuse that "looks" bad. A voltage check might show volts but will not carry any load. Then look for a corroded connection that might prevent amperage to flow.

Yep, did that. What has me stumped is the instrument panel doesn't seem to have any power, (with the exception of the switch), but I have power to everything else. have replaced a couple fuses that tested ok but looked corroded. Plan to replace the "slow blow" tomorrow when I go to town. I'm sort of playing with the idea that the fuse block may be the issue, except I have power to the switch. And I can't think what OPC is which is the #1 fuse, however, it's only 5amp. Lights/cluster/work light/ & flashers all dead, just the switch has power. Thanks for your reply StephenR

1st get the wiring diagram for your tractor ! Trouble shooting 'electrical' is EASY when you KNOW what wire goes where, which fuse does what, etc.

2nd How old is the tractor, how old are the primary battery cables ?

Often times when guys reporting checked the battery and cables the other end of the cables are neglected. Be sure the ground cable is removed from the far end and the frame where it is bolts is cleaned to a shine.

Do you have power? Or do you have voltage?

Check it with a test light, not a meter.

Both are good tools. Each has its place. Both are needed.

I have a 2006 B3030, and haven't had any electrical issues. Here's the link where I downloaded the Workshop Manual for the 3030. Section 9 is the electrical section which covers everything on the tractor. I've added some LED lights, winch, and did an alternator upgrade. The manual is handy to have!!

I have a 2006 B7800 and I think it is the same basic build as the 3030. If you have a hydostatic pedal at the right foot, rock it gently to allow it to find its home neutral position, releasing the neutral safety engagement. There should be a well-hidden grease zerk under the floor that is often overlooked for lubrication of the pedal.

Been there on the 7800.

Best on the solution, even 9 days later.
