Why are you replacing the pump?

If you are going to attach a gauge to the pump you need to use a loading valve, tee, and return line. If you dont you will.likely smoke your pump just like the OP smoked his.

I “thought” the power steering pump failed…. It didn’t, now the pump has been R&R @ 12 yrs.
Steering is still hard. I don’t have the WSM to trouble shoot the reg/controller… I am going to loosen the 2lines at the Steering cylinder to see if I’ve got flow there. Perhaps the seals have failed. I just rebuilt all 4 lift/bucket cylinders as all those seals failed at same time. Well most, I figured it was time to do them all if you’re gonna do one so they’ve all been rebuilt.
I doubt that the regulator or the controller is bad, but rather suspect the cylinder itself has seals that have failed.
Any guidance appreciated m.

Are the WSM for this one available on here? If not where are members going to get them? I will purchase one…as one dud not come with the tractor when I bought new.
