My Kubota L2250, Geared, 2WD shows a serial # L2250-11856. www.tractordata.com doesn’t list any serial numbers and (MOD remove Malware / junk site link) shows serial #’s ranging from 50006 to 57375 . Can anyone tell me what year corresponds to my serial #?

Kubota does not use any year code in the serial number.
These tractors years are based on the sale date not on a build date.
The L2250 started production in 1985.
You might be able to take the serial number to a dealer and they might be able to tell you the date it was sold.

So forget about the year. If the range of serial #'s is correct and from 50006 to 57375 and mine says 11856, what do I have? Could it be grey market?

Where did you get that serial number?
And was there anything before it or after it?

The number you gave is not a L2250 serial number.

Relying on information from tractordata isn't the smartest thing to do, they are often wrong on details.
EDIT: Further research shows that you have not been going to tractordata, you have been going to Tractor-Data, a BAD site that has very little real or valid information.

Actually, I've been looking at both tractordata AND Tractor-Data but when I said TractorData.com, that's where I was looking.
As said in my original post "www.tractordata.com doesn’t list any serial numbers and https://tractor-data.com/kubota-tractors-serial-number-location/ shows serial #’s ranging from 50006 to 57375."

So if I Can't rely on tractordata, who is often wrong, or tractor-data.com which is a BAD site, where can I get the truth?

I got the serial number from the side of the transmission and yes, there is more to the # as it starts with L2250 which sure does look like a L2250 serial number.

Go to kubotausa.com.
Register your tractor model and serial number.
Go to My Garage. On the page that shows, the beginning warranty date should be the original sales date. (I think)

Finally, some good advice. I had to go to https://shop.kubotausa.com to create My Garage and add a unit but I got an error with the L2250
Kubota My Garage L2250.JPG

Then I tried the other 3 tractors that I have serial #'s for and I got the same error. They can't all be wrong so not sure what's going wrong. Are these units too old to be in their database? My newest tractor appears to be a 1989 L2850

What am I doing wrong?

I did find your L2250F with that serial number.
The other serial numbers you listed are for L2250DT's

It's very likely that Kubota's data base does not keep the records on units as old as yours.

I tried adding yours to my garage and got the same message. If a dealer can't tell you, I think you're SOL.
