It is getting confusing with all the model Grapples out there
Looking for a Root Grapple with Two top covered cylinder Grapples. Must have 1/2" to 5/8" steel with 3"-x3" or 4" x4" tubbing and the lower grapple tines are 5/8".

I am looking at SPARTA and CID for two good Grapples. I want a heavy Professional

Good day.

I am not sure you finished your post or not…but I think I understood your post:

I don’t have a product from them, but during my search for MX I though MTL was pretty flexible and if don’t mind the weight, I think they make a solid product and can add and subtract options / features. They might be worth a call / visit. I would caution I don’t have first hand product experience with them, but if their models were a little lighter weight, I very well might have bought from them (weight was a deciding factor for me).

Good luck.

A heavy grapple dead weight will decrease your grapple lifting capacity significantly.

I have an MTL RG7 grapple. Well built and at 500# a push for my L3901 but should be well suited to a MX5400. I doubt it checks all of the boxes in the OPs post but if he would buy me a CV60 I would swap even steven

Yep, I thought they made a solid product. Good to talk to over the phone too. Looked like they had options to put covers over the cylinders and good locations for the zerks and basically built stout enough for a skid loader. If I were in the market again, they would be top of my list I think. 🥃
