Probably could have bought brackets. But lights were free and have lots of steel hanging around. So just time. Cut 4 pieces 2.5 inches long. Drilled 9/16 hole in 2 of them. 4 roll cage gussets that i have boxes full. Was going to tig them but got lazy. Round off the edges and into blast cabinet. I’ll powder coat tomorrow . Than I’ll do the unthinkable…. Drill holes in ROP to hide wires. No OSHA around here 🤣 1 hour of time for 2 brackets… i did correct angle that ROP is on to keep lights square. I could make guards but no real trees were ill be running this garage queen. Needed lights for snow removal .

nice, but man that's a LOT of 'stuff' to move to get the tractor back outside !!!!! ;)
Nah. Another garage door behind it. I use the lift all the time so needed another set of doors. 🤣👍👍👍 Lots if projects going on

A lift is what I need. Been using Quick jacks for a few years now, but they aren't high enough for this old guy. Have my wife's Focus sitting on them now to replace the dual clutch. Not high enough to use a trans jack so have to use an engine hoist and pull it up from underneath from above.

Good luck with the clutch job..

Nice job on the lights!

Also nice shop!

Having a hoist is "life altering" in a good way! (y) (y) 🍸

Had time today to finish my snow removal lights. Ran wires thru ROP.. hate external wiring. In my business of streetrods i mostly wired them with all hidden . Wiring and hoses. Pulled a double set of wires one for ground .. one for positive. Thinking if i put anything else on ROP i have an extra wire. I’ll just run the light grounds to ROP AND steal the extra wire. Wired them up to tail light as they draw nothing. May put a switch on them later as i didn’t realize how damn bright they are. OSHA will never know i drilled 2 small holes in the ROP.. 🤣. ACTUALLY would have tossed the ROP if i didn’t need lights up high.
Painted brackets some engine paint i had when i rebuilt my 54 chevy truck motor.,, thinking better than normal black.., well thats finished.
Now hooks and a cutting edge for the bucket. Oh and a backup light that wont blind me hitting the backhoe..

Hooks are simple. I think the 'general consensus' is to put them inline with the bucket rods.

I welded a set of Kens Hooks on mine, as well as, a set of his 'clevis mounts' just because......

Nice job on the wiring!

Thanks! Yes in the past on my skid steers i kept the hooks in line with cylinders.. also think thats the best. These light weight buckets on the LA350 loader need a bit of extra plating i think. Big PITA will be a cutting edge for bucket . Hopefully i have time to go find a suitable cutting edge to modify and put on this bucket.

Just in case you decide to make your own "ripper/cutting tooth bar", this is the one I used for my base.

When I put lights similar to these on my L4060HSTC-LE I scrounged around and found 4 brackets that came off the pallet that my Laser came on. They fit perfect with NO drilling! They gave me 4 way movement of the light so I could flare them out to the sides a bit for better side coverage when out in the field at night.

They sure DO attract the bugs though. Since the tractor was prewired, all I had to do was replace the Kubota plugs, since they only work if I buy Kubota Lights, you can't get the bare connector, I got some of these as well.

I might have even done a post of the install, or maybe not.
