Recently purchased a BX2380 I believe its a 2019, only had 116 hours. There is a stamped slot in the fender, right side, that has marks that suggest there was a bolt or knob there. Diagram below indicates the slot, but it does not show anything there other than the empty slot. What is the function here? Is it for a B-series three point hitch lever stop? Some lever for the TLB model? Why would this one have a round mark in the paint?

Hazard light switch-works momentarily only, its a pushbutton not the lever type. Time to disassemble and service the internals? Directional switch and lights work as they should. I think this tractor spent most of the time outdoors (Southern Canada weather).
Thanks!

don't know about the slot, as I have a BX23S, a close cousin....
but...

K287162262 is the 'switch', $153.xx at dealer.,plus 13% for the guvs....
yeah I just bought one, as I broke off the 'turn signal lever'. still works.

You 'might' get lucky by spraying WD40 around the 4way button, pressing it a zillion times, maybe,
EASY to replace. remove battery screen, press to unlock the connector, gently pull, press 'tabs' at 9 and 3 to release the switch.Maybe 15 minutes if you stop for a sip or two of coffee....

Thanks for that. I will try the WD40 suggestion and fire up my index finger. Hey, I'm up in Canada and we measure project time in "N" x beers. Sounds like a 2-beer job.🍻
