I'm having an issue where my b2410 will not register above about 1500 RPM. Audibly the RPMs are increasing. I can see the throttle linkage moving its full range of motion at the injector pump. I assumed it was my Speedo cable so I replaced that with a factory OEM cable. No change. Any thoughts?

Disconnect cable at engine end and rotate with cordless drill. Change rpm's slowly.
If instrument continues to act same way I have seen instruments where spiders have gotten inside and inhibit the needle movement.
I have some improve completely by bright left in the bright sun which seems to desiccate the tiny spiders.
