Hi Ali , I’m looking to find the part number for the backhoe sub frame for the lx2620 . I’m not sure how to navigate the kubota website for parts or accessories . Thanks for the great welcome to the forum . That’s the first granddaughter on the new tractor . She loves it . The in-laws gave her a kubota tractor farm toy set and it was all she played with . My b series made the small town news with my son riding with me years ago working in the yard , course these days I might get arrested for abuse with him on it ?? Anyways thanks for the help . Enjoying the forum

There are 2 general subframe kits for the BH77 backhoe listed at Messick's parts site:

EDIT - adding a thought that those 2 different frames listed are for cab vs rops model? Just a guess...

Here's a screenshot of the kubota canada parts finder, for the BH77, under options there's 2 sub frame listings. Each frame listed has 2 parts, the second being the hydraulic power takeoff kit.

You'll see the LX2620 listed for each frame set. I have no idea what's the difference, or which may fit your unit.

One may be cab specific. I think the sub frame is longer because of the extra seat

I was asking my son , he has the l3902 and his has a separate seat ( bh77 backhoe ) I thought mine would be the seat bracket included in the kit for swivel . It would be nice if they gave a parts list and diagram on the website .

You can access kubota.ca via a vpn, using a Canada server, if a vpn is available. kubota.ca parts finder has exploded parts diagrams for all of this, as I showed in my post.

As far as I know the separate-seat subframe is for a cabbed model. A rops model gets a different main tractor seat, a swivel seat.

If it is similar to the LX2610 the rear mounting of the frame to the tractor is probably different between open station and cab model due to the cabs lower structure. Backhoe is also moved rearward another 9 inches with extenders mounted to the backhoe.

Got it , so if I was to use his backhoe the seat would be with it and would probably mount just the same ??

I'm pretty sure that if you were to use his hoe (from an L series) his would have the extra seat. In that case, you'd need the subframe for an LX with the extensions for a cabbed model. There are also two separate types of backhoe control sticks. The extra seat version uses short-straight sticks. The longer bent sticks are used on tractors with the swivel seat. Those sticks come up much higher because the seating position is higher and further away from the backhoe unit.

However, I do think there was someone on OTT that rigged up the BH77 with seat and without the frame extensions.

thanks for that info , li would probably go the way of the rops version for the lx , I was only thinking of borrowing it maybe once / maybe not . I always figure if I borrow and break it I have to buy two . So that’s why I bought my own tractor . Question though which is the better way to go for the lx and why does the non cabbed L3902 with rops come with the cabbed subframe . Thanks for all the help , seems it’s about $1180 for the kit so I’ll put some money aside here and there and install that . At that I think you could probably modify any backhoe setup to mount on that

For a one time use I'd just look at renting a mini-x.

So I’ve been looking at backhoes on marketplace . There are quite a few at fair prices . I see a few Bradco but specs are heard to find . I’m looking for something with similar specs to the bh77 , I found a few model 408 but there are no specs on that model to be found . I’m figuring I would buy the kubota factory subframe and modify the backhoe to connect on that frame . Any thoughts on direction to the specs/ or best Branco model to use . Thanks , Richard

Is Branco a low quality backhoe , I understood it was right up there with woods . I’m only figuring I’d get something needing some paint , hoses , and the fabricating of a bracket to match the factory kubota bh77 ( intend on buying the kubota sub frame ) . $10,000.00 for the kubota hoe isn’t gonna happen unless I hit the lottery . Not looking for cheap , just sweat equity . Thank you for the heads up on the quality issue .
