I have a 1980 B7100 and previously the rear hydraulics worked, they don’t now but front works great.
I did top off the hydraulic fluid. Made a difference up front but nothing in the rear.

This is often caused by loose or bad quick connects on the loader (assuming you have them). Try disconnecting and reconnecting them, with the engine off.

It

It is a manual, gear shift.
I can not find a schematic that shows if I have the thing on or off. I know that I use the lever near the right of the seat to make it work, but now it does nothing.
What lever? Normal plumbing does not have a lever in that location. When you say rear hydraulicscdo you mean tje 3pt lift or rear remotes? Post a picture of your lever.

I've been using this for 3 or 4 years. It always was slow in the back. I have the manual, and nothing says anything about Hydraulics.

OK - thats a lot clearer. The lever is used to raise and lower the rear lift arms. Up = raise, Down = lower.

The PTO and 4WD levers are not related to the hydraulic operation.

I believe you said the front loader works fine. Are you sure both of the loader control levers are in the middle position?

These two, that is where it said to add hydraulic fluid.

Also, the levers that make the bucket go up or down, doesn't have a middle ground, either up or down for each?

I am not sure what the 2nd lever does, the other is obvious

Your loader has its own hydraulic system and has nothing to do with the rear system. I think you need to check the fluuid level in the tractor.

The front is working fine. I need to know how the rear works??

I am not able to make the rear go up or down? It used to before this year.
The rear is raised and lowered using the lever below and right of the seat. Pull up to raise and push down to lower. Do you have an Owners Manual?

yes on manual, nothing about hydraulics in it, and no that does not work using that lever.

can one of the other levers cause it not to work?
Just that one lever. When did it last work?

I find it hard to believe the Kubota manual does not cover use and operation of the lift. In particular how to check and fill the hydraulic system.

yes, thank you, that is the one I have always used. It literally does nothing except manually tries to pull up the rear.
Is there no other levers that could put it in 'neutral' or anything? NOT normal neutral, but obviously rear is not working.
