I have found a tractor that I want to buy, but I can’t find out anything about the repair history. The seller has sent me the serial number, but I don’t know what to do with it or what information I can find out by having it. Does anyone know of a way of finding out repair information by serial number? Thank you for any responses!

Ask the seller which dealer he/she bought it from and when, contact that dealer and ask for any records related to the serial number. If the seller won't provide that information he/she might be hiding something. If the dealer won't provide the records they might be hiding something.
