Hi all, i have a 1975 Kubota B7100 w/a Kubota B-14 loader. I purchased it used years ago and have struggled keeping the loader operational, due to the Love-Joy coupling breaking. When i use the loader… it puts a real load on the engine. I had a mechanic look @ it and he said the auxiliary pump in front is too big. From what ive seen looking at photos i’d have to agree. Any idea what the stock size auxiliary might be? Model # & where i might get one? Thank you in advance!

I am not a fan of those rubber insert couplers for that very reason.

Replace it with one of these and see if perhsps much of your problem disappears.

Thank you Dan! I’ll take this into consideration. That said, I’d still like to know the proper pump size.
I dont know the specifics of that loader but something in the neighborhood of 10 GPM (1.1 CID @ 2000 RPM) would be typical for an application like that.:censored:

If the 'spider' is breaking, odds are it's NOT the correct one !. They are made of different material , I think based on HP and RPM and maybe 'application' ? I KNOW there's at least 3 different ones, nicely colour coded. Visit the Lovejoy website and have a look.
I know I changed my snowblower one as others only lasted a season or 2. I've gotten 6 years so far of abusing the replacement.
