From your descriptions, it sounds like you are feverish. I wouldn't mess with any heavy equipment.
This last post was out of character for DustyRusty, as he usually does break things into readable paragraphs. So I'll stand up for him and say that it's because of the effect of the Covid is having on him at the present time. Can you please separate your post into paragraphs? My eyes crossed and I stopped reading after a few sentences.
The problem is the incubation period is long. It means that if you tested and were negative, you can infect someone just after you become contagious. You can move from ok to contagious in hours. It’s not anyone’s fault. It’s the nature of that type of illness.I brought home COVID to the house again.
I have had 3 covid shots, (and 4 emergency room visits after the last shot), and had covid once.I just had to fly to AZ and back for the weekend (long boring story) and since I caretake my wife with Alzheimer’s I wore an N-95 mask for the entire time I was among people and ate in public at a table about 12 feet from anyone. Purell and everything else too. I can’t be incapacitated. I’ve had each vaccine, booster, etc. except RSV which I have no coverage for and was quoted at $300. My GP and I discussed it and I’ve researched it an am passing for now. I had mild covid a 8 months ago, no big deal and perhaps it was the shots. You have me convinced to get Paxlovid if I just have symptoms!
Almost no one on any of the 4 flights or in the crowded airports were masked. Certainly not over 1%. There had to be carriers nearby!
I kind of subscribe to the following philosophy, except with Covid, what is leaving your body is not leaving from your wiener, but rather from your nose/mouth.I have had 3 covid shots, (and 4 emergency room visits after the last shot), and had covid once.
No more of that covid shot crap for me (at age 83).
My sweetheart had covid last Summer, and I found out that the state (MA) encourages, and pays for Paxlovid.
I got it for her (no prescription required), and she began to improve immediately.
A week later, and she was feeling reasonably good.
Hospital ER room knew NOTHING about the use of Paxlovid!
There is plenty of proof out there that even N-95 masks have very limited effectiveness.
Masks are a "feel good" thing.
Makes one feel like they are taking positive action, for something that they actually have no control over.
My dog peed on a fellow's leg as I was talking to him. He then said that my dog peed on his leg, and all I could say was that he was a pisser every time I took him out. He wasn't amused, but everyone else was laughing. That dog was a good judge of character.I kind of subscribe to the following philosophy, except with Covid, what is leaving your body is not leaving from your wiener, but rather from your nose/mouth.
So the mask is analogous to the pants…(Hope analogous is a real word.! )

Good to see you are returning to normal now!My dog peed on a fellow's leg as I was talking to him. Feeling a lot better now, and a lot better than I did this morning. It is like watching the sun come up and the temperatures rising, the flowers pushing through the formerly frozen ground, and the birds returning and building their nests. Tomorrow is Grumpy Old Man Day, and I can't control myself in anticipation of when all the old men of OTT start strutting their stuff.Good to see you are returning to normal now!
