Full synthetic - T6

Pretty soon the argument will be the regular electrons in my battery are just as good as the synthetic electrons that are in your battery. The cost difference between regular oil and synthetic oil is so small. I have been using Castrol Synthetic for about 30 years in all my engines. What pisses me off is all the different grades I have to stock.

I'm not that old, and I remember when it was 10w30 or 10w40. That was it.

I remember working at shops twenty years ago, and twenty different filters covered 90% of the vehicles that came in. Now just for the vehicles I own diesel oils are 15w40, 10w30, & 5w30. Gas oil are 10w40, 5w30, 5w40, 16w40 & some 20w50. What really sucks is the 2.5ish gallons of power steering fluid I have with everything is now electric power steering.

If you're not using SAE 30 straight grade in your tractor then it's days are numbered.

That thin chit is OK in the winter but your need a grade 50 or 60 in the heat of summer.
