M6060 Injector Failure

Hello. Has anyone with aM6060 or M7060 experienced fuel injector failures at low hours? I had all 4 replaced at 193 hours. Now, the same problem has happened yet again at 239 hours. It’s a 2014 model. The fuel filter has always been changed, nothing has been found in the water spectator. This will be the 3rd set if they get replaced at 245 hours.

What’s the failure? Not working at all, dripping, etc? I have a M7040 and have had no problems. That’s a lot of failures especially at those low hours.

“Injectors 2,3, and 4 have high opening pressures with poor atomization on the pop test.” Injector 1 “pops with good pressure and atomization along with normal return leakage and delivery”. Quoted from my invoice, from Central Diesel INC. Richmond Virginia. These were the factory injectors that were tested at 192.6 hours in December of 2020. Now, at 245 hours today in the tractor, it’s the same problem. The tractor will be move itself in L-1

Yes it was. It had 4 new Denso 1J770-53050 injectors installed

New from a Kubota dealer and installed there, new Kubota fuel filter, all at 193 hours. I’ve contacted the dealer that replaced them and I’m taking it back to them for another diagnosis. I just can’t believe they’re bad again. There’s nothing in the tank, water separator. I’ve checked the vent line for the tank, removed the fuel cap when it started to lose power to see if that was an issue. Same problem again at 240 plus hours. If the injectors are the problem again, they lasted about 48 hours of operation.

I would think there should be some warranty involved???

I sure hope there will be. I have all the receipts and invoices from the last time it was repaired. When I spoke to the dealer today, the guy was in disbelief it was experiencing the same problems again.

Any updates? I am told by the dealer that my M6060 will need all new injectors at 470 hours at approximately $1k each plus labor. If I have this to look forward to, I think it may be time to trade for another color.

There's a PSB for injectors and I have no idea if this will be helpful, but @whitetiger posted this one in another thread. My M6060HDC is outside of the range of serial numbers listed so hopefully I won't have any issues. So far so good.
