I’m new, to tractors, to kubota’s and everything. So I bought a B7100 4wd gear drive. Then I bought a FL850 tiller. Next I figured out… my pto on the tractor side has a block off plate. So I go back to the place I bought the little tractor from and the guy says o yea we were going to swap the pto from this unit to yours…. Here are the parts. So I’m a handy guy, but the gear ratios or more appropriately the gear sizes are not meshing properly… but I did get the cover with the actual pto shaft and another gear for the bottom shaft. Where would a guy look to sort this mess out? Any help would really be appreciated.

I would take all of it to the tractor dealer you bought it from and let them figure it out.

Then go pick it up when they’re done.

I just found the part number for the needed gear. And looks like Messicks can get it. It’s number 66711-14790 18t. Thanks
I highly doubt that Messicks, or any other dealer will have what you want or need.
Most if not all of these older parts are long obsolete, and no the web site will not show that they are obsolete.
Sounds like you got parts from a B7001, or you have a B7001.
Either way you'll have issues if you don't get the right parts.

If you truly do need the part number you asked for here is one:

I did see this set as well. I’ll probably just grab it and be on to my next project. Thank you for the advice and the link.

If you give me the serial number off the clutch housing I'll tell you if it's a B7100 or the B7001.

Oh and don't be fooled both the B7100 and B7001 have the serial number of B7001-XXXXX.

AWSOME thank you! I’ll get that number while I’m home at Christmas. Just a side note you sir were correct as even though Coleman and messer showed that gear as available no one in the US had one. Kubota just laughed, some even suggested a used parts place in Pennsylvania… but I ordered the one you sent a link to from ebay. Thank you for your timely responses and wise advice. I’ll grab the serial number next time I’m home.
