Hello everyone I am new here, but I just joined the tractor/Kubota community with a L3901 w/loader and forks.

My property as some hills and I have found ruts in the yard I never knew I had. I am looking at loading the tires (rimguard) and putting something on the 3 point. But before that I was wondering about wheel spacers. Does anyone know what is correct fit for the L3901? Also what size should I go with, I was looking at between 2-4 inches? Do I only space the rear?

Bro-tek has only 2 inch listed on their site for the L3901, i couldn't find any other the ones. On ebay they say for L series or L3800, etc

If your tractor as Ag (R1) tires the wheels are adjustable, if industrial (R4) tires then not. Mine has Ags and are adjusted all the way out, makes a big different in stability.

Best you can do is have significant weight (500-1000 lbs) on the 3 pt hitch when using the FEL!!!

Fluid filled tires are the next step. Helps a lot, but does not take place of 3 pt ballast.

2" spacers will make more difference than it seems

I found early on that you have to have weight on the 3ph if you want to use the FEL. I have filled tires but you still need weight back there. I keep my tiller or cutter attached if I have the room so that I don't have to switch as often.

Check page 53 of your operator's manual, if you have it handy. Your R1's are adjustable; R4's are not. I got mine adjusted out on the 50 hr service. Spacers may get your tires outside your implement coverage and leave tracks on every pass you make, especially disc and box blade.
