I have two bolt holes on the left side of my dash cowl. Can't find anything in the parts manual or shop manual that will identify their purpose. I have only found one picture online that shows anything other than the same two empty holes I have. Can anyone help identify the part and its purpose? Just curious.

Could be for a grab handle to mount and dismount the tractor.
My Dad had a John Deere with a grab handle in that area.

Seems I've answered my on question. Found a photo of an L245 with a mirror mounted using those two holes. Perhaps the fuzzy photo I uploaded with the original question showed only the mirror base.
