What does GPO mean on Kubota pumps?

I was working on an old B6100 for a guy and was looking at the pump. It had "GPO 7.9" cast into it. I came home and looked at one on a parts engine I have and it had "GPO 3.7" stamped into it. What does GPO mean? I know what GPM means on pumps but had no clue what this meant. I assume it must be some type of flow rating but I was curious what it actually meant.

Thanks!

hodge: That is what I kept getting! Goofy things like that!

E/S: I never saw that entry! Honest! That makes sense I guess! So these Kubota pumps must be made in India. I'll look into that...out of curiosity. Thanks!
