This is my thinking as well, as long as you store it under cover in the non-snow months. If it's getting stored exposed to the sun, the orange would absorb heat less in the summer months. Personally, I'd get the black and store indoors.Get the black. then after you use it, park it in the sun and the black will warm up more than orange would and melt off the snow before you put it away.
That’s what my wife and I decided as well. Black would be our first choice, still looks good with my Kubota, snow may melt a little faster being black and if we were to ever sell it, no one should have a problem with it.Without question get a neutral color (not tractor matched)
if you ever need to sell or you yourself switch to a different brand tractor, you’re in a better spot.
A family friend is gifting me a frontier tiller for my Kubota, sadly it’s JD Green. Of course it’ll still work, but tan or black would have been better.
