I recently picked up a M7030DTN. This is a 4X4 tractor. The tires on the rear are getting pretty bad so I'm looking to replace them. The size on there now is 16.9x24. Is there a more available size that would save me money in the long run even if I had to change wheels?

16.9 x 24 is a readily available and common size tire

Thanks, I got confused:eek:!! My other tractor is an M4000 2X4. It has 18.4-16.1 tires. These are the ones I will be needing.

Boy I really screwed this post up!!
The tires I will be needing first are the 18.4-16.1. I have spent a bit of time on searching this. What I found is this size tends to be quite a bit more expensive then many other sizes I have had to deal with ($675 each!!). My question was if anyone could suggest an alternate size that does not cost quite so much but would still fit the wheel. I have also read that, due to the price of this size, it could actually be cheaper to get new (used) wheels as well and still be cheaper. Other tires in a comparable size run around $350 each.

200 MPH, Thanks for the search suggestion, I would never have thought of that.

This is slightly less expensive. I did buy tires from this place in the last 6 months and was a great transaction and the tires were recently molded.

If you know the wheel mounting dimensions for your existing wheels you might be able to find comparable tires mounted on wheels through "Wholegoods". This is the sales department at your local Kubota dealer and is NOT the sales department.

If tractor is 4x4 you'll need to pay attention to overall tire diameter.

Sorry I can't be of more assistance.

Good luck

Check out Nebraska tire. They have a listing for $349
