Hi guys n gals,
I've been asked for a favour to sort out the three point hitch on a M1-46DF It's had all it's wires cut off from the bottom of the electronics block and removed. So does anybody know or has a copy of , the electrical schematic and the hydraulic system lines (what should go where)?
Thanks
Old Kodger.

I had to Google that model as I had never heard of it before. Not many results for it. Made from 1988-1998.
46 hp 5 cylinder utility tractor. You need to find a workshop manual for it but I didn't come up with anything. Good luck!

take a LOT of pictures of the wiring ! different angles and clean off any/all dirt on them.
Hopefully Kubota use a common set of colours for wiring their tractors.
solid black is usually ground
soild red m live 12 volt from battery...
If you can find a similar unit, there may be wiring for it.....

Sounds like your working with a Monro-Matic setup.
A few pictures of the controls and the mechanism might narrow that down.
There is very little documentation on that setup, but there are some common things to look for.

Thanks for the replies, but:-
The problem is that there ARE no wires, they've been cut off and removed from about 10mm below the "black box".
The guy who's asking for the favour bought this tractor and it was the previous (or before) owner who cut the wires. I suspect that what happened is that the electronics in the black box failed and he couldn't buy a new one so , what the hell, just cut it off.
Now I'm not beyond installing micro-switches on the controls, but it would help if I had any idea of what does what (or at least used to).
Rob.

well with nothing to lose.....
remove the box, open it up, clean up as required, take GREAT pictures, post any info about the box, and whatever you think they might go to .
That 'black box' was probably used on other tractor models ?? If so , someone will know something, maybe there's a manual for it on the internet ?

If it's like other Monro-Matic systems I've seen, there is no taking it apart as it's encased in epoxy unit.
I've never seen a manual that covers the Monro-Matic.

What does Monro-Matic do? I was under the impression it was to re-swing the backhoe, but OP says his is on the 3ph.

Monro-Matic was a electric solenoid / hydraulic valve operating and feed back system on older grey market Kubota's that operated the three point system.
Some of the systems also allow for manual operation, some do not.
