I got my L3800 in May and have 73 Hours on it as of today. I just want to share my experience so far. I bought a 5 foot rotary mower and have learned that 5 foot is plenty big in tall grass. I bought the R2060 and highly recommend it, well worth the extra money. I do recommend a 6 foot mower if you are just maintaining grass that you mow regularly, it would save a lot of time. The loader is just barely strong enough for what I use it for. It is sized right for the tractor though and helps keep people from exceeding what the tractor is capable of. The joystick loader control is a huge step up from my old AG tractor. If you want a tractor for property maintenance I highly recommend the Hydrostat, it is much more efficient than gear drive for mowing, loader work, etc. Tractor is very easy of fuel, right around a gallon an hour. This is a very "handy" machine and easy to use, even in tight spaces. Tractor handles much better with the loader off, so if you have a quick attach loader take advantage of it and take the loader off when you are not using it. I borrowed the neighbors Bush Hog 3 point tiller and now I can't wait to get one as soon as I save up a few bucks. All in all a great little machine, glad I finally got one.
