Folks -

Getting the feel for the new L3902. It has a grand total of 0007.2 hours on it! So far we've felled a couple of trees, dragged some felled limbs around, smushed debris up for the burn pile and towed another tractor around. FUN!

So here's the line up! A 1938 Ford 9N, a 1947 English (lend lease return!) Massey Ferguson TO 50, a 1978 Kubota L245DT, headed for the boneyard, and the NFG, a L3902 HST!

Looking to build some sort of trencher and want to get/make a brush grapple for the bucket on the 3902. The Ford is not super reliable, the Massey is a tank - used mostly for mowing since the engine was rebuilt.

I'll save the old cars for another day.

Nice. The poor old Kubota looks like it has had a hard working life!

Very cool! I enjoy watching a guy in NZ with a YouTube channel who either buys or is given old tractors that have been abandoned in some very remote locations. He's got quite the fleet of tractors now with some David Brown (of Aston Martin fame) models, Fiat, Kubota, International Harvester, Hitachi and more. You've got a ways to go before you catch up with him but I like your collection. :ROFLMAO: Too bad about that little Kubota though.

Everything good happens in NZ!! Is that the guy down Nelson way, he had an excavator he did a series on getting running?

Yes. Here's his latest video. I really like his simple approach to fixing things. He's a very bright guy and it's great to see him fixing abandoned equipment, getting it running well and using it on his property in the mountains. That excavator he was given would cost $300k or so today so good for him. I always laugh though when his wife says "that's the last one you're bringing home right?" Yeah ... good luck with that. :ROFLMAO:

By the way, he converts washing machines into hydroelectric turbines and runs his property off them.

Yes, NZ made Fisher and Paykel. They have brushless motors that you can run backwards as a generator - also very popular for windmills.
