My T1600 won't start without at least half throttle. It idles fine and runs fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I turn mine over with no throttle then increase till it starts. The owners manual says to start at half throttle but it always seemed to start rough doing it like that so I start at 0 then increase to run. No smoking and smooth.
I start all of my small kubotas the same now

Yes but what I'm saying is mine will not start unless it's at half throttle. Glow plugs seem to be working. I'm wondering if my injectors might be the issue.

When was the last time the fuel tank was cleaned out? I had another T1600 that had a lot of fungus in the tank blocking the pickup pump. Filters?

I got a filter on the way. It looks fine but no telling how old it is. I take a look at the tank.

Thanks!

check the fuel shutoff solenoid. Sometimes they stick and cause this exact issue. If not the solenoid itself see if the shutoff lever is sticking in the speed control assembly. If it is, lube it. Can't really lube the solenoid; well you can but it really doesn't do much. Replace it if it's stickin.
