Wow, it looks like Arkansas got hammered. By our local weather reporting it looks like the Todd's were right in the middle of it.

It was 76 here today, now 59, tomorrow it's going to keep going down and then snow tomorrow night!

Have a friend who's mother pass Thursday morning in Goodland, Ks. Weather there is 23 tonight, 5" of snow and part of I-70 closed. I'm not sure they left to go out there yet.

Yup, we got drowned last night. Was balmy and calm till around 9ish before it started raining here. Wife and I got lucky with it. The bad ones went either east or west of us.

They did have some rotation just north of us, and South of the kids and in-laws. But nothing at either one of our places other then rain or thunder.

Did take advantage yesterday with a promotion one of the local news stations were doing, and picked up a weather radio. They even programmed it for me. Issue was driving home from the store since the thing was powered on back up batteries.

In the middle of the city in traffic, and the bloody thing went off scaring the daylights out of me. Almost tapped the car in front of me when I jumped  Then had to pull over and dig the thing out in order to silence it

So fyi, buy a weather radio on a good weather day :p

We are down in Oxford MS for a wedding and woke up too tornado sirens at 5am. It’s a little scarier when you don’t know the surrounding area or where exactly your at located on the map verses being at home. I guess that’s one good thing about a smart phone with a weather app.

Haven’t ventured out yet today to see if any of them touched down and how close we were.

Wife and I went out this morning running errands. Seen one house that had a large limb go through the roof. And some reports of straight line wind damage in an area north west of us.

We had a mini twister come down near my in-laws place about three weeks ago. Hit a church and a couple houses doing extensive roof damage to each.

We didn't even know about it till we saw it on the news the next night.

Freezing rain here. Trees coated with ice and the wind has picked up. Branches falling, generally with a dead aim for the fences or the roof. :( . Still have power but that could change.

Watching Weather Channel yesterday, was thinking about you guys, 'Cat and Daren. Then skeets and 'sheep this morning early......

The freezing rain was here, but just in higher elevations. Was worse north.

Stopped at TSC just as they opened at 9am. Worker there I know said she almost went down on her porch. But, just a thin coat...

Rest of our week looks similar to today......:(

Same here brother. I should have mowed my yard when I got home from work on Thursday when it was 85. Instead I froze my butt off mowing it today. Wife wasn't too happy when I snuck up behind her with frozen hands

First freezing rain that dropped a dozen branches off my white pine trees followed by twenty inches of drifting snow. Wind took down a Taco Bell sign and wet heavy snow collapsed a roof on a motel. Still not as scary as those twisters down south. You folks down there take care!
