Just bought a 2010, B 2620 and had noted the pedal to go forward and back, is very hard to push down.
Ran a brush hog today and after awhile leg and foot aching because of it.
Is there any thing I can do to take the stiffness out of the pedal??
Thanks all.

Is there a zerk (grease fitting) near the pivot point? Check the linkages too for binding.

With the tractor off, is the pedal still stiff, or does it seem ok and have good return to center? I have run across this with some smaller hst transmissions. I would be critical of the fluid first without getting too involved with the trans if it is ok tractor off.

Pedal is the same running or not.

After looking a little farther, I have found what appears to be a stiff spring on the pedal.
Anyone know of a softer type spring that will work for the pedal?
Thanks again all.

If I remember correctly, there was a thread on this site where someone was trying a different spring to make it easier to use the pedal. Try a few different searches to try to find it on this site.

The factory damper may be getting fouled up. Try taking the pin out and using the pedal without. Keep in mind this device is to reduce sudden/jerky movements.

I will have to try that. I have done some checking and I have seen that the damper is supposed to help with sudden stop, when in reverse. Mine stops so fast that it catches me off guard and gets to my bad back.
