That plug is designed to allow condensation to escape. Plug it…and you’ll have it cause corrosion and if it freezes will break the housing.

Probably should figure out why hydraulic fluid is leaking into that cavity and repair the leak.

If you do plug it, count on other problems later. Likely a non op clutch.

NO you can not plug it, plugging it would fill the clutch housing with the leaking fluid and render the tractor inoperable in short order.
It's the propeller shaft seal that is leaking.
You will need to fix it.
It requires splitting the tractor to fix it.

Reminds me of the time a quick lube place pulled the clutch inspect plug on a 1991 Audi 200 Turbo Quattro and then filled it up gear lube. The car moved about 50 feet. That was one nasty messy job to fix. The quick lube place offered to replace the clutch at their location, customer told them no as they can't change the oil without screwing up. Removed transmission and flywheel and into the back of truck to visit the local car wash to clean it up.
