Our best and brightest minds are keeping busy

I saw an interview on the news this morning. The interviewer asked "why hasn't anyone done this before" and the guy answered "previous designers didn't know how to solve differential equations". I don't ever think about solving differential equations when using the urinal.

Bulls with short horns just need to stand closer to the food trough.
I'm surprised the US feral government didn't already have a program to address this pressing issue.

You must not be an engineer.

Now, I can't say that I've ever actually used diffeq outside of school, but there ARE several times where I though, I could figure this out using diffeq (if I could just remember enough of it).

I have NEVER wanted to "remember enough of it"!

I must have gone to the wrong school if that's what I'm supposed to be thinking of...

The article says that they used "...slow motion video..." to validate their calculations.

I wonder if this was under 'true to life' conditions and variables 🤣 (I am pretty sure there many variables to consider into the differential equations)

Do they use the variables L, G, B, T and Q in their equations? I know there is more I just can't remember what they are supposed to mean.

I just want to know how much beer they had to buy for testing and if they had a corporate sponsor. 3 guys and a keg of beer ought to be a good start. Do they put foot marks on the floor so all are at the same distance more or less? Did they supply the viagra for the less fortunate so that they didn't have to pee on their shoes? Are they giving it a sensor so it moves to the exactly the correct height. Inquiring minds want to know.:devilish:

Hey kid! The good news is we got a job for you. The bad news is you're the camera man!
