Just a place to post anyone's difficulties or frustration. Or Joy. Lost your dog, or spouse, or house, or Kubota. A place to sound off with what is important in life, and with what changed your life today or yesterday.
A few podunk Kubota owners, farmers, ranchers, home property owners...giving advice is better than going it alone.
We all come from different walks of life. Different money and income, different life situations. There might be someone here that can give a word of encouragement.
I'm no doctor, but I'm no kleenex hoarder either.
But a life saved....
On the other hand, if you feel comfortable, please share the moments and times in life that changed you. For the better or worse.
Such as..
Time served overseas in the service. What it was like to come home again.
The day you, say, maybe got a divorce.
The day a close family member passed away.
Your first car or first love.
I'm throwing this out there because behind all the bad-assery of owning a nice Kubota tractor, there's people like us, that have problems.
All you tough guys can take a pass. Deep down, you aren't. And you shouldn't. I spent over 25 years serving in a bad ass job. I know what I was afraid of. It was memories.
Peoples oversight helped.

Yikes ! Hits way to close to home. I try to stay positive.
2023 just plain ole sucks at Bikermike's. Gonna make the best and look forward.
Lost the love of my life, put down the dog and she was my life line. Truck got clipped by a yahoo cutting a corner while not paying attention and the teenager I am raising is yelling about moving out.
Well damn !
On the positive. Lost 70 pounds so diabetes is under control, waiting on the 2024 Goldwing and have tours planned. I cut the ponytail and have it high and tight. LMAO, I had to pay for this one ! Some of you will understand that.
The kid will grow up and may even appreciate having grandparents (now only me) willing to do our best.
Yes, a grown man can cry while listening to Stairway to Heaven and the wedding proof book is kept on a table for all to see. Remember actual photos?
Life goes on . Self pity helps no one. Grief is mandatory, but life is a gift and several generations will look upon on how you handled life and judge accordingly.
Look out folks. This old guy has a lot left and their are many states I have only seen from 30000 feet. If I see an orange tractor on my travels I may just stop and introduce myself.
May be a good idea to hide the single grandmas since I have a pension, my own teeth, and no debt.

Your attitude is fantastic! Rolling with life's punches and looking up despite the setbacks. Focusing on the single grandma's is good fun too. Gotta find the joy in life.
Riding motorcycles is one of my releases as well. Been a rider since childhood. There's nothing like it to be free.

health problems and uninsured. Doing my best to stay positive.

Someone said riding the bike releases stress. Yes it does. I loved to ride, be it on atv or motorcycle I just loved it. Sold the ATV and bikes in 2010 just before I moved into my first place (that I bought, not rented). June of this year bought Polaris General XP and have felt well enough to use it a few times. GF owns some property North of here along a well-known creek. We trailered up there and rode the general around last month on her place. I have never been so relaxed in my life that I can remember. We'd ride along the creek bank, across the creek several times, stop, listen to the sound of nothing for a while, ride a little further, then the one time I got tired and just went fishing. Weren't biting much (crystal clear water and middle of the day=slow bite) but I didn't care. It was HOT. So I just jumped into the creek to cool off. Found some fossils on the bottom, picked up some trash along the way, just had a great time. Wish I felt well enough to go more often. There was a large rock formation across the creek and she remembered as a little girl going down to some place to find some caves in the area, so I swam across the creek to the rock bluff and went underwater for a bit. Sure enough, the bottom of the rock is hollowed out and water flows out of it, you can feel the cold water coming out. I wanna find out where it leads to but need to wait til the water's back down. Right after a rain is not the best time obviously.

lost my dad in June of this year.

Brother's got issues (mental health).

Recently engaged, so there's a bunch of stuff gonna happen in the next few months. Life-changing. Hopefully I'm prepared for it.

Busier'n a one-legged man in a butt kicking contest at work, which is good and bad. If I ain't feeling good, it really slows me down and then I feel like I ain't pulling my weight. But good, in that the commission checks are decent.

The one guy I work with, he's that "tough guy". Never talks about the stuff he fears, it's always "I'm on top of everything". That'll change. It always does. I was that guy for the first 30 years of my life.
