For suspension to work you need stroke travel to cushion bumps. K OEM tends to give you only 3/4" max stroke, changing the springs won't help much. If you are heavy and hit a bump your spine acts as your suspension to absorb the impact as you only get about 1/2" of spring travel to play with.

If you get a suspension with at least 2" stroke the springs will do their job better.

FYI both my OEM K suspension systems are sitting in my scrap bin right now for these reasons. Air ride is the only way to go IMHO.

A cheaper alternative is something like this instead of OEM
You get what you pay for. I'm tired of losing one to two weeks of my life with sciatica due to crappy seats.
Well here's what I came up with. I too have a bad back.I had three disks removed from my lower spine, 360° fusion, with a titanium cage and two rods and screws. It took two years for my back to completely heal.. I put the helper springs inside the stock springs you can see in the pictures. They fit inside the rubber stopper grommet. They have quite a bit of firmness to them.,and I can no longer bottom out the seat. I weigh 250 and change, no lightweight for sure. I also am going to use a motorcycle gel pad in shearling on top of the seat for more comfort.. AMS specialties makes a nice one..I have two, I use them on long trips on the bike and I the car. The shearling helps to keeps you butt dry in hot weather. The gel absorbers bumps. Helps.

Looks good to me - KISS (no offense intended). A little stiffer suspension but no bottoming out. (y) (y)

Mikester, What brand air seat do you have? If you don't mind, how much did it cost ? I saw.one that cost over a grand.

For my tractor I got the Kubota branded L6026 grammer air suspension seat. It was cheaper buying through Kubota then the same Grammer seat at a seat dealer AND Kubota had everything in stock with free p/u at the dealer. I posted details here with pics:
