Installing Racor water separator/filter. Question is line routing. Is it preferred to come from fuel tank - Racor filter- pump- stock filter- engine. Or is it prefered to come from tank to the pump- Racor filter- engine. I’ve seen it done both ways on video. Simple is to come to pump- filter- engine, but I don’t know if pump will hold up. I did a search but didn’t find anything on routing. Thanks for your help!!

Personally, I would put the new filter on the same side of the pump that the stock filter is on. Some pumps do not do well if you restrict the flow somewhere it is not expecting.

On my 2380 it's fuel tank, filter, pump, filter, engine. Exactly what you said in your first sentence. Mine is not the Racor filter. It's the kit sold by Bota products.
