What is the consensus between Pats quick hitch and the frame type quick hitches? I have a Kubota B2710.

Lot of opines, but I have have always found my Land Pride QH very useful. I don’t have any negatives. My FIL had Pats on his New Holland that I used often and it was ok, I just prefer to have all three point links done at once.

pats isnt a quick hitch its more like a pinless link you still have to hook up and adjust the top link. not really quick.

the landpride qh are pretty good been using a qh16 for around 2 years now.

I went with the good works tractor version so I could hang weights on the sides and I am very happy with it.

I have a QH15. I wish it wasn't adjustable. After losing the quick release pins, I added bolts. The bolt head/nuts are in the way a bit. Besides, if the implements are really QH compatible and mine are, you never need the adjustment.

So I'd go for a QH that doesn't require bushings and without the adjustment if I was doing it over again. YMMV.

I've thought about the Pats over the years, but my problem is my implements require slightly different top link adjustments. Pat's wouldn't do much to help with that, and I already have the QH and bushings. My guess is it would be better if your implements weren't QH compatible.

I thought the consensus was: (1) if all of your current and future implements are QH compatible = buy a QH and (2) if some of your current or future items (especially buying older used things) are not QH ready = buy Pat's.

3rd option, s to buy an older Allis-Chalmers tractor with 'Snap=Coupler' setup, that way all implements ARE 100% compatible and don't need 'top link' adjustments, even swapping between different tractors.

Frame type for me.
-> No more having to adjust sway chains/bars. Set once and forget them.
-> Not getting off the machine unless having to hook up a PTO shaft or hydraulics.
-> Can mount our chainboxes to most of them :)

I have a variety of different makes/models/vintages of implements… and as a result, a QH is of no help on them, only a frustration. It’ s not too much trouble to handle them since I’ve swapped my lower lift-arms to telescopic types.

I’ve got a standard QH that takes up room in the corner of the shed.

On my open station SCUT I can reach back and unlatch the frame style from the seat ... Depending on each implement and how it's sitting in the ground, the top link might still be in need of adjustment, but I added a hydraulic top link which makes that matter a moot point now for me ...

On my cabbed tractor, I need to get out and unlatch to unhook ... Also has a hydraulic top link ... Some people have added a hydraulic system to unlatch the QH so you don't gotta get out!

Uhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Well, Snap Coupler implements kinda hard to find and have been for decades.

I'm not a fan of quick hitches for multiple reasons.

I am a fan of extendable lift arms.
