Posters on the Implements forum suggested that the TG1860 is so old that if you wanted a snowplow for it you would need to fabricate one, since they don't seem to be generally available. How would you go about doing this? Can the mounting frame that I have for the snowblower be used to enable raising/lowering the blade too?
The snowblower parts bolt and pin onto the frame. Would the plow connect the same way? Any pitfalls to avoid in this endeavor? I have a plow from my old (1970) Simplicity, but don't want to spend a lot of time on a project that isn't going to work. Suggestions/paths to take?

When i was looking at a plow for my bx it looks like female adapter part looks clise to tg and bx. Maybe find a small atv pliw and use the femaile adapter, the adapter was likea 350 from messick

You missed that he already has the plow, simplicity, he just needs to adapt it to the TG mount.

Good to hear. Will have to examine blower mount in more detail. There was a TG2001 on Craigslist last week for just $100 but it disappeared (obviously) faster than I could get to it. Is one ATV plow better than another? The blade I have is only 42", and wider would be nicer.

Too wide and you won't have enough ompf to push it.

True, but the TG2754 plow that Kubota designed for the TG1860 tractor is a foot bigger than the 42" plow that went with the Simplicity. Angled, a 42" plow is not going to clear a wide enough swath for the TG1860 to move forward in.

That's the TG2754. There's also a TG2001 snowplow for this tractor that is 48". Can't find 'em out there.
My point was they spec'd a 54" blade for it, so you should be able go up to 54".
