I am looking for a sleeve (cover) to slide on both of my PTO output shafts on my B2650. I would use a piece of hose, but the end would still be open. The covers used to be available on eparts.com but they are out of stock and have been out a long time.

Anybody have any thoughts.

Messicks show a PTO shaft cap cover for $8.44.

Or google "PTO Shield" for other places to buy...
I think PTO shield may be to broad of a search. Going to get you mostly tube shields for the shaft or gearbox shields. None of the ones on the agri supply link would work for this application

Thank you for the effort. Messicks doesn't show it as fitting my B2650
Could also try your local dealer, most of the tractors come in with pto covers on that end up getting thrown away along the PDI process. They may have some floating around

A guy on YouTube made one from an Orbit sprinkler head. He gutted it, heated it up with a propane torch till it got soft, then shoved it on the stub shaft....conformed right to the spline. Then he installed a plastic ½ NPT pipe plug in the end.

Thank you for the reply. Unless I am not picturing this correctly, wouldn't there still be and open end?
Well, yeah, but if you cut it long enough, fold it over, and tie wrap or use some wire around it then that problem is pretty easily solved.

I got the rear cover with my tractor, but had to make one for the mid PTO. I used rubber hose then found a plastic cap off a brake cleaner or penetrating oil spay can that fit perfect over the hose, then wrapped electrical tape.
Still perfect since 2013.
