Price Check -- 2020 bx2380 low hours

Hi All,

I've been reading for months and looking to buy my first tractor for mostly mowing 1.5 acres (2.5 total).

I thought this would be the best place to post this..... can move to another area of needed.

Locally there is a 2020 bx2380 w/standard loader, < 50 hrs for sale and I wanted to get your ideas on price of what it's worth. I did the build and shows $ 16,099 on the kubota site. This is just the tractor. No mower, would have to buy the 60" finish mower as well, wouldn't mind process on that too!

welcome to the forum! Lots of great info here.

Here is something to consider ........

IF used - is this a dealer? IF so - can you finance at 0% ?

If not dealer - you paying cash?

IF not - you MAY want to consider buying new - why? New models might be higher - but if you look at the long term, the 0% may be cheaper and easier to pay for over the long run.

You can buy a new unit WITH 60" MMM and pay a monthly payment and still be ahead of the used unit depending on the variables.

Does this used unit have the warranty ? It should.

Asking price is 14500 with a rear finish mower but I know there are mower decks (60" belly) locally for sale that i could pickup.

@hokie - its private seller. yes the dealers have a good promotion going now for 84 months 0%. Thats generally why I want to find out if this is a good deal, so I can make sure I'm making an informed decision. I've also read inventory is a problem right now and prices are likely to continue going up because of demand and supply chain costs.

Yes does have warranty (would need to transfer).

A used MMM for the 2380 will still cost you $1,500 unless you find a hellva deal!!!

I do understand the inventory problems - best to have the bird in the hand rather than wait for the two in bush!

IF when you go and search for the MMM - MAKE SURE you get allllll of the cradle parts and the PTO shaft, that all should come with but I have seen stranger things happen......

Buy the unit - sell the rear mower and you should be good to go!

14500 is asking price with finish mower (rear).

Any ideas what the mower would be worth without the rear finish mower? I could save myself the trouble of buying, transporting, selling the rear one as part of the deal if I could negotiate directly a price for the tractor itself, then just find a MMM for a decent price (with all the hookups as you mention).

The mmm new I think is $2500-$3000, I opted not to get one but have seen One for sale and it was 2014?? Model and he would not budge off $1500.

I am curious if the mmm from the Bx2370 will fit the bx2380 bolt for bolt.......

I have seen many MMM for the 2370 series....... not so for the 2380 ..... I betcha they are almost the same exact, but then again.............

Yes, the 2370 and the 2380 use the same MMM whether it's a 54" or a 60".

Hi all, thanks for all the advice!! I took a look at the tractor last night. Its in great shape (its basically new). Price was $14,500 without the trailer mower, 15 flat with it. It had some other nice smaller upgrades, rear pto hitch adapter. Beet juice and FEL scrape bar. All in all a great machine.

Decision for me was ultimately to buy new with promotions going on now. Im actually leaning towards the B2401 vs the bx2380 due to the gain in other features of the tractor and close in pricing.
